What Do Exchanges Report?
Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, and other regulated exchanges will send to Polish tax authorities (Urząd Skarbowy):
- Your name and tax identification number (PESEL)
- All transactions: Buy, sell, transfer, swap
- Amounts and prices
- Staking rewards and other income
- Deposits and withdrawals
Timeline
- 2024-2025: Exchanges implement reporting systems
- 2026: First data collection and trial reports
- 2027: First full CARF reports (2025/26 data)

All major regulated exchanges must participate:
- Binance (EU-regulated)
- Coinbase
- Kraken
- Other EU-regulated exchanges
